Stephens Avenue Project Overview: Stephens Avenue Landscaping Project was a Project funded by the Montana Department of Transportation, Community Transportation Enhancement Program for the City of Missoula. Project included reconstruction of 3,600 lineal feet of Stephens Avenue from Northeast of Knowles Street to South Sixth Street intersection. A new landscaped center island with street lighting was a highlight of the project. Intersections were designed with bulb-outs for traffic calming.
